COVID-19 Cybersecurity: From Lockdown to New Normal [Specialist Series]
As COVID-19 rages on, lockdowns have been enforced by governments all over the globe in order to halt the spread of the virus.
Offices have been shut down, staff have been forced to transition to a work from home arrangement – and hackers couldn’t be happier because of it; the mess of confusion, panic, and misinformation that followed in the wake of COVID-19 combined with a company’s inability to react as fast as they normally could is the perfect opportunity for cyber-attacks to happen.
According to reports, there has been a massive spike in ransomware attacks, scams, and other related cyber attacks ever since the pandemic began. This is a continuing pandemic webinar specialist series to assist professional to manage the specialised areas related to business continuity management.
Additionally, with so many staff working at home, hackers clearly seen hundreds, maybe thousands, of new opportunities opening up to infiltrate an organization.
